London conference- First visit to Narayana temple- Biggest outside India!

I had few hours time to visit this temple. So as soon as I reached London, I wanted to catch the tube (Metro) to get there.. So here I am in main station.

I bought a ticket and with the tube map I was getting there to catch the metro. Oh My God!!! It was lot of people and too much crowded.. I felt like I was in India..
Finally I got into the right metro line.. It supposed to reach some station. Unfortunately, they were some issues and stopped in mid way. I do not want to give up, I tried to catch some buses and finally I saw the sign board (with the number 2) to go to that temple.. I had energy to walk 2kms. I walked a lot then I realized that they expressed in miles.. Ha ha ha.. Sometime I am not that smart.. Okay anyway, I wanted to reach there.. Finally I could make it..

Here I am after prayer..

It was so beautiful inside.. Nice handmade carvings in italian marble. Photos are not allowed inside the temple..

worth walking..
I hope you like it..

After I headed to attend the conference..

GSS meeting- Imperial college London..

Meeting was held at Imperial college. Sounds nice!

This is the national science museum . I liked this building..

Our people having lunch outside, since the weather was good.

and surprisingly I got the prize..

"Best Poster" ..

I was with my prizes.. I was bit proud!!
I should thank here for good suggestions from my boss and colleagues! Will share the wines with them for sure!

After I had some plans for my weekend! of course I should have..

No offense, but I wanted to go out of London.. It is not my kind of city .. too much people and always you have to rush, though you have plenty of time..

I was pretty much tired spending three days there!

So I wanted to travel to English country side to refresh myself!!!

You will see those places in the following posts..

Stratford Upon Avon- Shakespeare's birth place!

This was the highlight of my trip..

Stratford upon avon, Shakespeare´s birth place.. Sounds very interesting ..

We were first to Anne Hathaway´s cottage.. Shakespeare´s wife.

Here is the Shakespeare´s birth place.. I and Sandi took picture ..
His house again..
RSC.. Royal shakespeare company.. For me, it sounded Royal Society of chemistry.. After all I am a chemist..
The RSC is probably the most famous classical theatre company in the world.
And I visited his grave .. His famous poem was there..
The Shakespeare Hotel..
I found this publicity interesting.. Princess with lot of candy..
Nice "Clock tower"..
If you are interested take a look of this.. Events at his times..
one more time in this house..
I just adored this place.. hmmm.. Best one I ever travelled.. You do not know how happy I was..

I never ever thought that I would visit these places in my life.. even I didn´t know this place exists..

Thanks to Manel for suggesting me to visit these places..
