Good Day : Good Company : Good Trip:

It's been quite a long time I didnt go out to explore Portugal. As I said in the title good weather made us to visit some place. Me and Julce decided to go toBarcelos. It's our plan.

(The town's famous symbol is a rooster, in Portuguese called o galo de Barcelos ("the rooster of Barcelos"). One of the many versions of this legend goes that a rich man threw a big party. When the party was over, the rich man noticed that his sterling cutlery was stolen by a guest. He accused a pilgrim and let him go to court. He protested his innocence, but the judge didn't believe him. The judge was about to eat a roasted rooster when the pilgrim said: "If I am innocent, this rooster will crow three times." When the pilgrim was about to be lynched, the rooster crowed. The judge released the pilgrim. The story ends a few years later when the pilgrim returned and made a statue over the event.) : Isn't amazing??????

Okay.. Here comes our story.. As our plan we have to go to visit this city.. We were in a correct Train (It's confirmed by the Ticket checker) and we were travelling listening romantic tamil musics and I was explaining the meaning of love and romance described in Tamil songs.. Then at one satage the train reached the final destination. When looked out we were saying oh this place looks similar like a Viana De castelo....(That was really a funny expression...) .. Then we confirmed that we missed our destination place and reached Viano Do Castelo... We asked the ticket checker whether this train crossed Barcelos... he said yes it did and he was so helpful as Portuguese always does...

So we laughed as much as we could and decided to have our lunch at Viano Do castelo and return back to our target place.. We have been to this place already so we didn't spend much time.. But the good weather made us to walk a lot there after a great lunch....

After visiting Viana we took train and went to Barcelos, our target place.. As I described about this place earlier, its very famous for Rooster.. It exists many roosters in many streets.. One infront of Tourism office...

Finalmenteeeeeeeeee.. we were at Barcelos with good energy to walk around..

This is my Bank Building in the Barcelos..Isn't great????? My bank means I have just one account.... okay? Its a colloquial saying.. Don't take this serious.. Ha ha ha...

I have to mention something here about the portuguese kindness.... We went to have coffee in a bar... There I saw sugar packets printed with different monuments of Portugal... That interests us and I collect these wrapers for my friend's (Luisa) collection... Since Julce knows it she said the girl working in the bar about the collection. That girl and the other guy stoped their work and searched different wrapers and gave us a lot.. really a lot.. .. That was soooooooooo cute... right???....... So as always they surprise us...

I am honored to live here...

and as you know if I am with Julce I used to have ultimate fun.. So we had good time in two cities and came back home with typical sweet (named Sonho : means dream) from Barcelos for Sunday.....
