A day in Dubai

It was interesting that I got a good ticket with many benefits to visit my family in India.

Free nice things they offered with ticket, a day stay in Dubai in a nice hotel provided with free food, before that enter the country with free visa stamped, and a free pickup service from airport to hotel and vice versa.  wow... 

that sounded good and I asked the woman who was explaining me all this. are you crazy?? Believe me I did! So I was excited more to see Dubai than my family. Ha ha ha.. If they knew they would have not treated me well. anyway I am safe now.

okay.. Once I reached Dubai, as they informed I got first free Visa stamp and got free ride to the hotel and I got this nice room. It was really nice with good air condition. As soon as i left the luggage I went to have food.

Here I was.. you believe it or not 6 am in the morning (local time) I was having all these food. 

 
It was really good buffet. I was quite surprised about the taste. After having good breakfast I wanted to go out and see Dubai.

What information I gathered before my journey was it will be tourist bus (hop on and hop off) available to see the city. In a hotel I tried to get some more information to reach the tourist bus. But you dont believe people dont know it. Also there is not much public transportation. You have to use the hi-fi taxi mostly. I was quite disappointed and wanted to get some right information. Finally and fortunately i found this bus. I got a day ticket....

And the thing was it was SO HOT weather. I was not able to even bear it. When I got the bus with good air condition and free water service, I got happy. and other thing was almost all the drivers were speaking tamil... so it was fun..

So here it starts .. you will have fun..

This was the one of the places I wanted to see in Dubai, "Atlantis the Palm".. Actually I did get out of the bus and did walk for a while... You have no idea I was already regretting. So HOT so Hot..

but enjoyed a massive construction of this and specially the location.. it was good..But not for me!

eagerly waited for the other bus to hop on (it was just 20 mins gap)..

And again started the journey. I was better sitting inside the bus and see.. Indeed a good idea.

then comes the highlight of the trip.. "World's tallest building". Burj Khalifa.. So amazing.. I liked very much the construction. So beautiful it is.

after all these trip I went back to hotel to have my lunch. One of the things i liked and admired was the food. Oh.wow!. So much varieties from different countries. even they had Portuguese food there..

Believe me I had two time of this. so good.. so good.

then again I started visiting.. I was feeling bad that I could use much of the room that they provided. anyway. already enjoyed enough. some more things to see.. 

and the other good thing of the tourist bus was that they offered the boat ride and so many things.. I didnt have much time. But I didn't want to miss to see Dubai at night ..

So I did try the boat trip.. again i got the company of the tamil speaking guy. good chat i had.

Night was good but not that i expected...
