Krishna Jayanthi - Lord krishna Birthday!!!!

As a devote of Lord Krishna I would like to celebrate this day with you..

It is the celebration of the birth of Lord Krishna, the most popular and beloved of Hindu dieties. Also known as Gokulashtami in South India and Janmashtami in North India, it is a celebration marked with preparation of sweets and savories which Lord Krishna likes, decoration of Krishna’s idol, decoration of the floor with kolams, by drawing the footprint of lord krishna from the door to the pooja place, representing infant Krishna’s entrance into the home.Krishna, the eighth incarnation in Lord Vishnu’s Dasavataram, was born as a human being to destroy the evil King Kamsa of Mathura. It is said that more than 5,100 years ago, Krishna appeared in his original, transcendental form to annihilate the miscreants, and re-establish the principles of religion. During this time, Krishna spoke the Bhagavad-Gita, which is one of the most famous books in the world. In the Bhagavad, Krishna speaks of practical methods to attain his devotional service.

The following philosophy I try to follow...

Be happy!!!

Longest Bike Ride we ever had!!!!

We were planning for this journey for quite a long time .. We made a first step that rented a bike on friday ..
We were really happy that still we had the same offer that it is for free....(If someone needs to use this offer please dont hesitate to contact)

Our plan was to ride upto Espinho, it is around 15kms one way from Porto. It is quite a long journey... Simona should accompany us since she is an expert in bike ride.. Unfortunately she could not join with us..So Me and Vaibhave decided to change our plan just ride in Porto.. We started around 5.30 pm and suddenly we decided to take risk go to Espinho with the informations collected from Simona.. So our adventure started from Porto..

Espinho is in the other side of Porto.. we have to cross the river.. So,we took a boat.. It was just
1 Euro.. And this was my first time I use the boat.. Very nice experience..

Our bikes!!!.. Look good right???

And then according to Simona's suggestion we need to follow the red path (newly made bike path along the beach )...

We missed sometime the continuity of the path but still we could make it travelling in a highway without knowing much traffic rules..

We enjoyed watching sunset..

Vaibhave took all pictures and he sent me just my photos.. So you don't find him.. May be tomorrow or later I will upload his photos too..

We missed the last boat to come back to Porto when we returned.. We had to find other alternate to cross the river.. That is by cross using the bridge.. But we found some funny experience to claim up to the bridge and finally we arrived home midnight..

Vaibhave gave me a great company.. And thanks a lot for the photos!!!

Obrigada Vaibhave and I wish you to have a good week ahead!
