London : Longest walk I ever had in a day!!!

I got a good information that it is not enough just one day to explore London.. Of course it is a one of the biggest cities.... Since I had a continuing journey I decided to spend only a day there.. so I arrived London very early like 6 am .. right after my arrival, I started exploring .. Starting from Main Railway station..

Tried walking towards pariliament building...

I took this picture just because "1977" the year which I born.. that interests me a lot!!!

Buckingham palace didn't attract me much other than this huge gate!!

I just adored the parliament buildings!!! Great architectures!!! Hats off!!

I never saw this kind of informations before on the street.. It is really very interesting.. Even as an Indian (keep left rule!) for me it was difficult to cross the street, since I am used to follow the keep right rule nowadays.. The informations written on the street helped a lot.. Great idea.. I appreciate the way they care about the people!!!

Cathedral is the one of the other buildings of my interests....

30 St Mary Axe, also known as the Gherkin and the Swiss Re Building, is a skyscraper completed in December 2003 and opened at the end of May 2004.

Tower bridge was myother interest.. i just liked this very much.. So great!!!

I do not know whether you believe this or not I did walk a lot till 11 pm the same day.. Of course I did took some rest in between .. this was the first city I was so crazy walking without using any public transportation..

My opinion is London is a good city but too crowded for me.. I mean Too many tourists!! never saw before this crowd of tourists..

But had very good time and great experience of walking!!!

  1. Really great architechture!! Next time i suggest dont miss the chance to ride the double decker bus.. if possible on the open roof one and go for a city ride.. that is quite popular.
