Third day of my stay was more relaxing. We all took enough rest .. at the end of the day I happened to experience a most famous finnish sauna..
"The Finnish sauna is a substantial part of Finnish culture. There are five million inhabitants and over two million saunas in Finland - an average of one per household. For Finnish people the sauna is a place to relax in with friends and family, and a place for physical and mental relaxation as well. Finns think of saunas not as a luxury, but as a necessity".
Going to Finland and without experiencing sauna doesn't sound nice..I hesitated a lot first, but Abulfaz and Nasim insisted.. then I realized how relaxing..
Thank you guys!!
and comes my last day of my vacation.. that was such a hard part.. leaving them..
I had to start really early in the morning.. as usual they both came to railway station..
I liked here Nasim a lot.. With my woven hat.. (good right??? specially I liked the flower)..
if you need one just ask me..
so the day i started back was the coldest of my visit..
It is always difficult to say good bye.. But many time we have to .. that is life!!!
After I got into the train.. I was thinking most of the time about my stay.. it was quite a long journey to airport.. it was a coldest sunny day.. I happened to see lot of snow or ice on the ground.. so white.. it was good ..
then I had my breakfast which was packed by them..
((bread, cheese, walnut, dates from Iran and Milk)).. that tasted so good...
hmmm.. then reached airport.. oldest airport in Finland.. nothing special but..
after takeoff I saw the frozen surface water in the sea..
Okay.. now I would like to share something which i found interesting about Finland...
May be you will find the same!!lets see..
first of all about the language.. I heard first in train.. oh my god.. beleive me, it sounded really like Japanese .. nothing similar to any european languages I hardly know.. and one more thing they all speak good english..
I didn't have any problem with the language.. that was nice!!
and non acceptable thing .. at least for me is "they are very silent"..
meu deus!!
in a train they maintain pin drop silence ..(not even observed in a scientific meetings)..
They have separate place to talk in a phone and separate place for babies in a train..It is hard to believe but it is true..
Imagine how I traveled then.. but i did talk with them.. I am after all an indian woman.. ha ha ha..
and
one more thing is now in winter it darkens sooner.. so people to be identified almost all of them hang some designed glowing stuff on their bag, jacket , etc., it shines with light.. so it helps a lot.. for example their bus ticket cards so transparent and shining. so you can use them to stop.. don't you thing it is interesting???
so of course I had right to own those icons.. my choices were to angel and ice crystal..
so Abul game me ice crystal and Nasim gave me angel.. pretty much expensive that stuff..
okay I guess I am finishing ..
hmm..
the mini vacation was great and i returned home with little tears and lot of gifts ..
one more secret is "I didn't spend single penny there"!! believe me.. so if you want to visit Finland in five years just tell me.. okay???
PK! you are a very good friend and it was a pleasure for us to host you here :)
ReplyDeletehope to see you soon!
