I proposed this dinner for my (our) special guest "Manel". He traveled to Dortmund from Porto to check on me.. But still I treated him good. .. I am kidding.. okay??
It is always a good feeling if someone took effort to travel and spend some time with us.. to be grateful and make it special i wanted to invite some of my friends here for the dinner too to have fun with.
so our dinner started with starter with some fresh wines..
Here I should mention about "Eric" (french guy).. He is my assistant cook... As I found he is a great cook..
He did lot of work more than me..

and Sudhir.. he helps me too.. Sudhir is a good criticizer.. I always consider his comments!! worth considering!

and in the conversation we learnt something important on this day from Eric. Remembrance Day (also known as Poppy Day, Armistice Day) is observed on 11 November to recall the official end of World War I on that date in 1918; hostilities formally ended "at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month" of 1918 with the German signing of the Armistice ("at the 11th hour" refers to the passing of the 11th hour, or 11:00 a.m.).
after that Manel gave us a good idea to raise toast at 11.11 (pm) hours for the remembrance of end of world war I.
on 11/11/11 at 11.11 pm we did toast for the end of world war I. So we really felt special after that.
