Trip to Valencia with my Whisky Partner!

Valencia was the city I wanted to visit for so long just with one big reason that my favorite actor (Super star Rajnikanth) had been there for his movie shooting.. You may think how crazy I am.. I completely admit and I like being crazy that makes me very happy most of the time.. So it is fine with me being selfish..

Whenever I see this song I feel that I missed a great chance to meet him personally.. I guess it will happen one day... Just a matter of waiting ..

and my travel partner comes here.. Fardin... Just in here he smiled by himself (you can easily understand the reason! and this was my idea) and other times I was almost begging for it.. .. so please do not miss it..

Orange is the famous fruit in Valencia.. so ..

and comes the interesting part of the city..

In 1957 the city suffered a severe flood by the Turia River, with 5 meters of water in some streets.

One consequence of this was that a decision was made to drain and reroute the river and it now passes around the western and southern suburbs of the city. A plan to turn the drained area into a motorway was dropped in favor of a picturesque 7km park which bisects the city. (wikipedia information)

Virgin Mary..

When we went there, there was a festival for Virgin Mary.. so we happened to see some interesting decorations..

the following image was done by flower petals .. I have no idea how one could possibly do this..

and we happened to see this even inside the market..

That was good..

Horchata drink... big story..

So, a famous drink from Valencia.. This was the special place to drink "Horchata"..

A delicious drink.. I liked this a lot ..

(Our host already informed us that it may give some stomach upset).. Knowing this very well, I wanted to drink this again ...

so this story happened..

when we went to see the science park I saw them selling this drink.. So I could not stop myself buying this.. It was so fresh and delicious.. Fardin was smart and he didn't drink.. As soon as I finished drinking I had a strange feeling of throw up right after... I felt so bad and i did throw up and I chose a wrong way to return home .. we ended like this ...

there was no path to go to other side other than jumping from a railway track.. Since I felt so bad I didn't want to go back to right way .. Fardin was so understanding and agreed to jump ...

As soon as we jumped, we saw two police man.. We guess they didn't see us jumping from the railway track.. good for us..

and I wanted to get rid of that feeling and I wanted so much to have some citrous drink.. Again Fardin found me this citrous eatable fruit from the park and that helped me a lot..

So please be aware of this drink.. my advice "One time is sufficient enough"..
