After having good barbecue made lunch in this vilalge ...

we headed up to the tallest mountain to get to see nice views!

Here we were at the church.

clouds in between looked like lake.  and you have to trust me, it was freezingggggggggg cold!

and 360 deg view of the surroundings. completely different colors obviously!

Farm in the Working place!

In the institute where I work they have an interesting idea that they assigned part of the land for cultivating crops!

Here it is!

Most interesting thing is RED CHILLIES :-).

First thing he did when I visited the farm, he removed all the plant and GAVE it to me!:-).

That is really a hot stuff :-).

Since I arrived Braganca i didnt buy any vegetables. I always got nice fresh ones from them. Still I have lot to finish! I asked them not to give me anything until i eat all other cooked stuff stored in fridge :-).

I wish to work in there to learn things about cultivation! Will see if i am able to do it!

I was taken to this very small nice village! On our way we happened to see the Rainbow :-)

 You can see the style of constructions. Classic but striking!

 and none in the street. At that time we were just 4. It was very quiet and Nice!

 and this was the resturant we had our food.

 Starting with the starter... Cheese and tomoto is a new combination for me. but was interesting!

and for me food was specially ordered, because till now I dont eat Cow hand and Pork ear! It came a shrimps on a very hot granite plate with egg over. And Patricia was cooking for me! It was different and good idea. i should do this technique sometime later! You should try. FREE TIP!

You know my friends already! No need for another introduction. Building (with lot of flowers) behing them is an other restaurent it seems. Will have to try out food from there! one day soon i guess.

on our way we found this interesting place. where "Dog" supervises "Goats" and protects from poeple Like Gromit! (best cartoons I like : Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the sheep)

Hope you could differentiate the dog from sheep! He was barking at us because i was taking a picture of him.

So it was another surprising lunch invitataion and had interesting saturday I had with my people here!

Good weekend!

Moving in a Right Direction!!!

Started my new life in here!! very small but incrediably beautiful town currently I am in!

I have to tell small story here anyway. Before I came to Portugal I faced very unpleasant situtaions in my past! then I ended up meeting kind people in Porto and awesome boss that I shouldn´t have to tell! I found life was simple in Porto and people made things interesting. I fulfilled my dream (became Dr.) 

Then came other unplesant moments and I had to leave Porto but to a very interesting place where I am currently living now. So never should I be worried of  bad moments!! Better things are waiting ahead! i strongly believe in that! So now, what is it place? I have to let secret go! 

You dont believe how I got this offer! So better not to say! But, it happened and I had to move from Porto to Bragança (disclosed!). After moving to bragança, I am feeling that here life is so simple. And it is my type of place!!! very less populated, very quite and you have no choice have to live with nature! what else you want in your life?!? see how lucky I am! 

So it is time to introduce my friends from here! Maria João, Patrícia and if you could find a guy then it is Rolando! 

 All of them making my life very very interesting. I was thinking at first who are these people and where are they coming from? So so kind and they did all the help for me to adopt in this new town without any issues! That is amazing right?!? you see I always been LUCKY :-). 

So I was with them at first weekend and it was a big surprice for me the lunch invitation! 

Whoever prepared the fish was awesome! It had lot of flavor. For me, it was perfect!You can easily imagine as an indian woman the food has to have lot of flavor and taste. otherwise very dificult! As a proof I did cature it! Look I didn´t exagurate it!

I ate two full fish actually!

After nice lunch, the dessert was roasted Casanta seed. While tasting, I told them i never saw the tree! I said it, so... Then here goes, they took me to show it! Again, come on guys. you have to come and visit me what i am facing is all true! because even for me it is very difficult to understand them!

okay. Already I said enough that is hard to beleive! but wait for more things!

But I would like to finish this post by presenting views from my flat:-)

You have to look closer to see the castle! it was very sunny when i took the photo. So not clear. But again you have to visit me enjoy the views! I still couldnt beleive this is really happening! becasue looking at the castle and drinkign coffee makes me feel CRAZY!

Anyway, this is my story for now! I have lot to tell! So please be breapared! and I will catch you soon.

Now I am having a hard time to find how to be nice with them! I have no ideas. If you have any suggestions please let me know. I would really appreciate that :-)

First time in Porto Beach water...

Big shame that I didn't explore the Porto beach  for six years. But finally I did go! Mariana accompanied me.

Starting from our place.... We were both prepared for a beach. It was a very warm day!

First Sailing experience!

I visited Julce and João and I got invitation to go for sailing with João (Alone :-)).  The destination place was other booster for me! It is one of my favorite places in Portugal, Viana de castelo.

FYI: João has 60 years of sailing experience! That I came to know bit later! 

Sunday morning I was ready and bit excited to go for sailing. (Honestly I had no clue how is it going to be!)

So we were at the Marina.  João was preparing everything.

Here we go.  Julce & João. Julce drove us until Marina. I asked Julce if it is fine to go with him alone :-). She said  she is happy for me and interesting thing is she said if it was other woman she would never allow. Positive signal from Julce made me happy :-). So my friends have good trust!

The water looked so clean but unfortunately these fishes are not to eat!

Here I am ready to go! 

João (Captain) was teaching me how to control the boat. He said if I knew how to drive car it is easy. Ha ha ha. When I got my turn I tried to keep the angle I did move steering like in car. I was stupid I should wait for its response (because we are above the water not on the road), instead I was rotating and the boat turned really the opposite direction. Got Good lesson. Now I know how it works.  

Okay. Other interesting thing was I really wanted to take a one pretending photo of me sailing :-). But, what happened was I was really sailing all the time and my captain was instructing me so we didn't find time to take much pretending photos nor found time to eat and drink coffee. (I imagined completely a different journey). But sailing gave me more satisfaction despite hunger.

At first captain instructed me to follow the direction of windmill. It was much easier.

After we crossed that it was very challenging for me to keep the direction. I had to take care of many things. Keep the angle and control the head and main sails, and I should not cross some fishing stuff floated on the water. That was plenty! :-(

On our way, I saw other boat. João said they are his friends. I dont know how could he recognize. But again 60 yrs of experience I had no doubt! 

When they were passing us we said hello and they took few photos of us. I should ask those through João.

It was one of the perfect days João told me. I liked very much the reflection of sun on water. 

Though it was a very warm day I was freezing! So finally we reached the Viana de castelo dock! It was like 5 hours journey! I had good time.

As I said I didn't find time to take photos. May be next time! 

First of all I didn't expect that João would give me his boat (Has three bed rooms) to handle, though I have zero experience. He said I would make good crew and He is willing to take me for more journeys :-). 

He said he can completely trust me because I was listening his instructions all the time!
