Happiest Year ever had!!!

My Dear Friends,

(Note: My friend Santanu didn't like the way I say Guys.. So just to respect him in this post I start like this..)

So, I started this year 2009 with my friend Isabelle and with her family in Belgium.... That was a very good start... I can't forget that in my life.. I had a very good time with all of them....

I am very much grateful for her invitation...

coming to the point, I never been happy like this before .... Most of my dreams came true this year...

Some to mention..

I have got the FCT fellowship for what I was longing for almost like 5 years.. It was the first happiest news I received on new year day..

That was the one of the happiest moments in my life..

Then comes to my personal issues.. I was out of my mind for some time.. Ha ha ha.. (One simple example is.. When I shifted my work from Pune to Dortmund, Germany, I Jsut left the country without even informing my parents.. I couldn't believe that how did i do that.. I deeply feel sorry for this mistake).. But, I am very glad now that I got my mind back.. I guess so...Ha ha ha..

So my personal behaviour changed a lot. I started living my life by the way I wanted..

And

in this starting year something interesting happened to me.. That was I got rid off from the relationship for what I was regretting ... Becasue of that stupid relationship, I lost some of my true friends.. But fortunately, I got them back .. Immmmmmmmmm.. You know, I have done something good in this life to got them back.. I am thankful for my friends.. They forgave me for all the mistakes I have done..

I am thanking them deep from my heart..

and then coming to the funny part..
about the sports ..
It's fulfilled my dreams like swimming.. cycling.. dancing.. gym.. meu deus, I am doing so many stuff now..


So, here I am concluding that the year 2009 was perfect ...
Whatever happened it was perfect..

I am very happy for what I am now..

Me and my friends passing Sunday!

Because of Christmas and New year lot of people in our residence went to their homes.. So we are very few people left in our residence.. So its a kind of boring having lot of holidays.. To avoid this feeling we deidecd to do some activities..

So on sunday we had walk to the park nearby.. It was great to see the peacocks...

and at the evening I had a good walk with Mariana along the river side.. It was wonderful.. Some photos from that...

Immmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.. Atleast we could touch George Clooney like this.. (a very charming guy ... right????????)

Dont feel bad Mariana lets wait for the real touch... Ha ha ha...

So I was glad to finish the Christmas holidays..

Then we should plan to do something for the New Year holidays....

Christmas Lunch following Lanche....

Então, continuation to my previous post ,We had christmas lunch with our Research group ....

We were 22 peoples of Professors and Students..
Here we are..

Me and Dianne are missing in photo.. We were sitting at the corners of the table.. Our Big boss was worried about my seat becasue it was at the end.. But that was my Ultimateeeeeeeeeeeeee choice ... Immmmmmmmmm..

Okay.. me and Dianne ordered Fish..

It looks good right???? It was delicious too ..... We both enjoyed our food a lot...

Then comes the highlight of this lunch, was the dessert... It named "Pecado" means "Sin". So I was curiously waiting to face the sin.. ha ha ha.. Infact everyone was eager ...

I dont have any idea why they fixed this name to this beautiful and very delicious thing... May be these were the reasons to fix with this name.. ha ha ha... anyway I need to confirm...

Whatever, It was really good ... We got one Pecada for the corner people.. Fortunately our big boss doesnt eat sweet.. So we were really eating a lot

we proved that we are so good and never wanted to leave the sin to others..
ha ha ha..

Depois Lunch we had Lanche (means snack) from the faculty.. We were really full of lunch .. we didn't want to miss the snacks ,Me Dianne and Mariana went for shopping to have some space for snack... Ha ha ha.. We are smart ..Right????

Dianne couldn't eat anything.. I had some snack and juices.. immmmmmmmm.. anyway our walking didnt work out well as we planned.. So I guess we are not smart enough.. Ha ha ha.. We need to find other alternate for this issue...If you have some idea pls let me know guys...

Christmas Dinner with my Lab Friends.. Only Girlsssssssssss...

So talking about Christmas Its being great to live in Christian majority countries.. That is, to Enjoy watching the christmas trees , lights in the street, shopping , Christmas parties, a lot of Holidays... etc..

So my party started with my lab friends.. We fixed the dinner on Monday before that we selected the person to be gifted by Secret Santa.. That too its fixed the price of the gift Just for 3 euros.. Imagine how hard is to select something for 3 euros for a woman.. But we did with some cheatings..

I got the friend name in secret Santa whom I was thinking for.. I was happy about that.. the secret comes later .. Okay???

And about the dinner we decided to eat the Typical food from Porto called " Francesinha".. I have not tried this food before.. So its a good plan to go with my friends and try this..

before going to the dinner we all took pictures in our Lab just to pass some time.. here comes the picture of my friends from my Lab and neighbour lab..

Unfortunately we were all girls.. that 's the tougest part we faced in this Dinner..

Here goes the " Francesinha" .. Its too big right.. Everyone of us felt the same.. It was good in taste .. had some spice.. so it was good.. and It went well with Sangria... wine punch typical of Spain..


So we are all trying to finish the food..

So after the dinner we have distributed our gifts.. It was really surprising that I gave the gift for Dianne (whom I was thinking) and She has the Gift for me.. that was interesting right??

She offered me three gifts.. one she made a photo frame by herself..and a small bottle of wine (She knows abt me.. ha ha ha) and some of the favorite chocolates of mine.. So sweet of her.. .. So she cheated too in the price..

So we all were with our first Christmas gifts of 2009..

So finshed the dinner and we all went home safe..

How Hard is Maintaining a Relationship?

Guys,

I wanted to write this post since I wanted to maintain my relationship with my friends forever.. I never wanted to lose people.....

As much I know Its easy to find a people.. and its easy to start having a relationship with someone as a friend.. But it gets difficult when It comes to maintaing the relationship in a good shape....

Understnding this situation and get out from hurt I hope we need to first understand the type of person we are in realtion with...

Talking about the type of persons I should say some of the peoples types I have met...

Forgive and forget type : They are really matured.. That means even if we do mistakes if they are considering us as a good friend they forgive us and try to be good with us as normal as they way they are.. Whatever may be the mistakes if they are our good friends they forgive us.. I have some of my friends of this type.. I respect them in my life like anything.. Its hard to find these kind of people.. If you know someone in this type never try to lose them for your stupid mistakes.. These poeple are passionately commited towards the realtionship.. I am proud to say here that some of my friends are of this type and they accepted me as a good friend in their life.. Thanks guys..

Discuss and forgive type: Other type of people I have met are ready to discuss the issues when it comes to problem and try to solve the issue and try to maintain a relationship.. In this case it would be easy to solve the problems and maintain a relationship since they are ready to talk abt...

Hurt type : Some other people they just dont want to let us know the problems and they keep in their mind and easily hurt the other.. Its very easy to lose a relationship with these type of people when they didnt want to share the problem...

So here I am asking my friends that pls try to forgive my mistakes or pls discuss the issue with me when i do mistakes .. and I beg you guys never try to keep the issue with you and hurt the feelings of friendship.. I am ready to accept my problem and would try my level best to change myself to be a good friend ...

Weekend with Residence friends!

Here I would like to introduce my sweet friend Nasim (Irani girl).... Jai (Indian friend) introduced me Nasim. Thanks Jai for introducing her. We met many times in residence but we never spoke each other. She was living with her husband ... After I come back from my vacation Jai introduced me Nasim and said that her husband left Porto and she is feeling alone .. I could understand the feeling of missing a husband.... So thats the short story of Nasim..

Here she is.. . I am so comfortable with her..

Today I went for shopping at the morning.. You know guys when you reach home after shopping and someone made your lunch prepared ..a great happiness right???? yes .. she did for me today.. She made me so happy today.. I wanted to invite Julce for the lunch and Nasim wanted to invite Simona( Romanian Girl - i came to know her from Nasim) .. So we four had Iranian food.. That was really tasty..

The following photo I just captured in one of the traffic signals in Dortmund. I was really surprised and wonder how could they follow the traffic rules like this.. It was really amazing that they all stoped their car in a fixed distance... Hats off to them..

by the way the next following photo is obviously clear that its about Indian traffic..

are we not feeling bad for making these kind of traffic issues in our country? I humbly request you people whoever use the two wheelers or four wheelers or whatever please try to follow the traffic rules so as to able to minimize lot of accidents by that way you value the people life.. please...

One of the most exciting sports - Red bull Air Race

Immmmmmmmmm.. Only now I am able to update something in my blog.. After I come back from India, I had a homesick for few days (Many of my friends couldn't beleive me that I had this issue- ha ha ha, )... and I was concentrating to write a report to be submitted today. I was held up with these issues and found some time now to write about the Air race and upload some videos of it.

So, first I found this smallest motor cycle on the way to Air Race.. That was really interesting..

Here I would like to share soemthing about Air Race ...The Red Bull Air Race world championship features the World's best race pilots in a motor sports competition that combines speed, precision and skill....

Fifteen world-class pilots have qualified to compete in the Red Bull Air Race World championship in 2009. Flying low to the ground at breakneck speed, attempting difficult turns and Air Gate crossings requires immense skill that only a certain pilots in the world possess.

Soooooo I was so glad to watch the live race race in Porto..... Some of the videos for you guys...

The most interesting was the Breitling Jet team Air Show (The only civilian aerobatics team performing on Jets) .. That was amazing......... ( when you find time please take a look of this site.. you may enjoy it http://www.breitling-jet-team.com/ )

Enough Enquiries - New travel experience!

Since I lost my Residence Permit and had only written copy (In Porthuguese) of 60 days valid visa I was in big trouble to reach Porto...

It started from Cochin airport (India) .. I was enquired by almost 10 police officers for more than 2 hours... They called the Dubai and frankfurt office to inform that I am travelling through these airports and asked them to take care of my case (Ha ha ha).. .. I showed all the documents to prove myself that I have lost the residence permit and have got temporary visa for short time to go back Porto after vacation.. At last one Police officer understand my situation and allowed me to travel Dubai..

I had only 1 hr 45 mins break in Dubai... so...when I wanted to boarding they got me.. They asked me to show again all the documents and the Police didnt beleive me at all.. He informed me that he will send me back to India.. I was bit angry and said to him you can verify all my documents if not go ahead with your decision.. I was happy to go back to my place.. (Ha ha ha)

Atlast, he scanned all the documents which I showed and called the Frankfurt office to take care of me.. (Ha ha ha)... I was allowed at the end to travel to Frankfurt...

After 7 hrs travelling I reached the Frankfurt.. When I passed thorugh passport control I got by federal Police.. He asked me go with him to his office.. He asked some questions and he got all the documents from me and asked me to sit infront of his office.. I was bit cool and called my home and informed them that i have reached Germany..

I liked the verification done by Federal Police, Frankfurt.. He just called the Porto Police to confirm taht I have lost my Residence permit also asked him to verify the documents showned by me.. He informed me to wait for some more time until he confirms from Porto Police....

After 20 mins he confirmed that I was right and allowed me to go out of the airport... Also he accompanied until the way out and he was kind enough to guide me to reach frankfurt hann airport where i need to catch the fly to Porto..

I reached the frankfurt Hann airport and I slept for 4 hours and got ready to take the fly to Porto... I caught even in this small airport but everything was cleared in 15 mins..

Finalmente, I reached Porto...

When I arrived home I checked my mails first.. One of the mail was from visa office from Porto.. My second card of Residence Permit was there.. I was happy about taht.. but, I should keep it carefully not to face these kind of issue.....

I really enjoyed and cant forget this interesting trip anyway... (Ha ha ha)

I had good time with my family.. I have travelled enough to visit many temples in Tamilnadu...

I am very happy about this vacation..

Sister's home - House warming - By Hindu Rituals...

According to Hindu Rituals for the house warming it beleived that to make Ganapathi homam first before start functioning the life in New home...

We used to have homam (which refers to any ritual in which making offerings into a consecrated fire is the primary action) at early morning normally before sunset that too on the auspicious day and by the well paracticed person...

The day we selected to make that pooja was the birthday of Lord Ganapathi.. So it was very hard to find one person to make that pooja....

We all went to bed only at 1 am early morning and we supposed to get ready on the same day at 3 am... We had hardly one hour to sleep.... We could not take good rest...

One of the formalities is to give some money as a gift.. Here my parents giving money to my sister and brother in law..

And other formality is to boil the milk first at home... that supposed to be the first activity should be done beofre starting any work in new home..

Here my sister was boiling the milk and my mother and my sisters mother in law were helping her..

We were ready to shift all the things and ready to organise her home...
